The Biointerfaces Institute provides users with access to state-of-the-art equipment for the production, screening and characterization of biosurfaces and biomaterials. Researchers can receive training to allow for “hands-on” usage of the infrastructure or can take advantage of the BI technical staff’s expertise to enable their work.
To independently access the BI lab facilities in ETB, users must have McMaster Safety Training modules, required for working in a biological lab environment, and complete our online training course. Following successful completion of McMaster and BI online training, users may schedule an on-site equipment training session.
