Our Services

Understanding the nature of the biological / material interface, or biointerface, impacts everything from contact lenses to blood contacting materials to diagnostic test strips and new bioseparation media. The Biointerfaces Institute at McMaster University provides world class space and infrastructure that enables the study of how biological systems respond to the introduction of a material, and conversely, how an engineered interface responds to or is compatible with a biological system.
