Lab Space

Usage of bench space (for extended periods of time) and equipment usage is billable to your supervisor. Bench space users must be approved by BI staff. Areas will be kept clean and tidy. When working in BI laboratories, BI users are responsible to for having their own lab supplies (e.g. glassware, pipettes, tips, plastic-ware, waste containers).

BI laboratories provide hand-soap, paper towels, and some cleaning supplies. Bleach and 70% ethanol are provided.

BI users should wipe down laboratory workspace prior to and after working with 70% ethanol (provided). Refer to the BI Housekeeping Policy.
